Our family-owned company has been in the horticulture industry for three generations.

During the Second World War, crops were first grown on the site to support food supplies. In the 1970s, rose cultivation took off, followed by the expansion of one of the largest garden centres in the South East of England. Expanding into landscape gardening and garden upkeep seemed like a logical next step, which is how Sustain was born today.

We coupled our gardening expertise with a passion for the natural world and a determination to stop climate change. Everything we do is centred around relationships, rewilding, and nature. We treat all of our client relationships as we would the ecosystem they reside in because we see people as a component of nature. Our internal behaviors are reflected in how we act on the outside. We are dedicated to treating customers with honesty, openness, and compassion.

When visiting the Netherlands on business, we became aware of the great pride Dutch businesses have in the appearance of their buildings. This and the overall cleanliness of the nation both caught our attention. It is not surprising that they have had success in the horticulture industry given their infrastructure as a nation.
